OBIT: Arminda Chapa

MISSION - Arminda Chapa, 60, went to be with Our Lord on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Mission Regional Medical Center.  She was born to Octavio and Guillermina Flores on August 5, 1950 in Diaz Ordaz, Tamps. Mexico.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Chapa of Mission; son, Jose Luis (Edna Gabriela) Chapa Jr. of Mission; daughters, Claudina (Marco Antonio) Carranza of Mission, Sandra Chapa of Mission and Carolina (Domingo Omar) Contreras from Alamo; brothers, Serapio Flores of Hollister, California, Sigifredo Flores of Penitas; sisters, Amelia Moreno of La Joya, Aurora Collins of Hollister, California and Anabel Flores of Penitas and seven grandchildren.

The funeral mass was held June 25 at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Alton. Burial followed at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
