OBIT: Pedro Navarro

MISSION- Pedro Navarro, 88, left to be with the Lord on June 1, 2011 at Mission Regional Medical Center. He was born to Julian Navarro and Altagracia Gomez on May 7, 1923 in San Alfonso.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Imelda Navarro; children, Juan (Jo Emma) Navarro of Laredo, Julian (Linda) Navarro of Alamo, Javier Navarro, Jaime Eduardo (Marissa) Navarro, and Hilda Navarro; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends June 2 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in Mission. The funeral mass will be celebrated June 3 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
