Anna Mendiola Castillo

SULLIVAN CITY – Anna Mendiola Castillo, 44, born on July 4, 1966 entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 13, 2010.

Anna was born in Mission, TX to Lauro and Dora Mendiola. Anna was employed by Regis Corporation as an area supervisor.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Trinidad Castillo Jr.; a son, Adolfo Villarreal Jr.; daughter, Alyssa Ashley Villarreal; her loving parents; brothers, Cesar (Lydia) Mendiola, Oscar (Alicia) Mendiola, Joel (Palmira+) Mendiola, Marco Antonio Mendiola; sisters, Leticia Mendiola Martinez and Lisa (Manuel) Chapa; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

“Life without a purpose is a languid, drifting thing; every day we ought to review our purpose, saying to ourselves, “This day let me make a sound beginning.” - (Thomas Kempis)” Anna's purpose was to live each day to the fullest and her children were her life, her inspiration. She truly believed in living well, loving much and laughing often. Her family and friends will miss her beyond words; may she rest in peace.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 16, at L & I Funeral Home in Sullivan City from 2 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, November 17, at 10 a.m. at St. William's Catholic Church in Sullivan City. Interment follows at Cuevitas City Cemetery.
