OBIT-Francisca Cantú Estrada

MISSION - Francisca Cantú Estrada, 87, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 at Mission Regional Medical Center.

She was born on Aug. 28, 1926 in Abram.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Leocadio Estrada; and children, Oralia E. Alaniz, Baudelia Salinas, Reynaldo Estrada, Yolanda Estrada, Esmeralda Garza, Ricardo Estrada, Norma L. Estrada, Hermila Estrada and Israel Jose Flores Sr.; siblings, Julian Cantú, Raul Cantú, Enriqueta González and Eduardo Cantú; and 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Genaro Cantú and Victoria De Luna, and brothers, Esteban Cantú and Guadalupe Cantú.

Visitation will be held from on Friday, Nov. 8, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home in Mission. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Abram. Interment will follow at the Estrada Cantú Family Cemetery in Abram.
