OBIT-Canuto Flores Sr.

MISSION - Canuto Flores Sr., 97, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013 at Mission Regional Medical Center.

He was born to Manuel Flores and Guadalupe Mendiola on Jan. 20, 1916 in San Miguel Camargo, Tamps., Mexico.

Survivors include his children, Emilio Flores, Crispin Flores, Canuto Flores Jr., Manuel Flores, David Flores, Ofilia Flores, Yolanda Silguero and Hilda Ramos; brothers, Daniel Flores and Israel Flores; sister, Delia Flores; 38 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Flores, and daughters, Alicia Ramirez and Herminia Garza.

A funeral service was held on Nov. 4 at El Mesias United Methodist Church in Mission. Interment followed at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
