AUSTIN – Philip Rocha Jr. passed away on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Mr. Rocha was born in Mission and raised his family in McAllen.
Survivors include his, wife Ramona Rocha; daughters, Cynthia Christine Rocha and Catherine Lucille Floyd; son, Philip Rocha III; siblings, Imelda Oehlstrom, Frank Rocha, Marilyn Vela, Ellen Jayne Friday, Homer James Rocha and Elizabeth Yvonne Shydlowski; and two grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home – South in Austin. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, Oct. 25, at 10 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Austin at 11:15 a.m.
