McCOOK – Glenn “Pete” R. Hipsher, 82, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011, in McAllen. He was a farmer all of his life, and farmed in the McCook area most of his life.
He is survived by his children Glenda (Jerry) Pavlica of Mission and Roger Hipsher of McCook; grandchildren, Lisa Sarusal of Mission, Deena (Thomas) Davidson of McAllen, Jeremy (Joanna Torres) Pavlica of Mission; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Joshua, Mackenzie, Garrett, Carter, and Addisyn; as well as by his beloved Labrador, “Cream.”
Mr. Hipsher was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hipsher, in 2007.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Steven Havener and his staff, and Pete’s nurses, Julissa, Jorge, Annette, and Elena.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 16, at 10 a.m. at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen. Services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission.
