LOS EBANOS - Francisco Salinas, 94, passed away on, Feb. 23, 2013, at Solara Hospital in McAllen. He was born on June 7, 1918 in Cuevitas to Pedro Salinas and Maxima Flores.
Survivors include his sons, Guadalupe Salinas Hermilo Salinas, Hermilo Salinas, Francisco Salinas Jr. and Juan Salinas; and daughters, Maria Rosa Vela and Maria Cristela Perez.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Herminia Villarreal Salinas; sons, Aurelio Salinas and Pedro Salinas; his parents; and a grandson, Michael Anthony Salinas.
The funeral mass will be held Monday, Feb. 25, at 3 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Los Ebanos. Burial will follow at Los Ebanos Cemetery.
