MISSION - Julia Marroquin, 87, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, at her residence in Mission.
She is survived by her children, Mary Solis of Mission, Linda Carrera of Mission and Art Marroquin of Chicago; and 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Marroquin; parents, Merced and Anita Rodriguez; and sons, Pedro Marroquin Jr., John Marroquin and Joe Marroquin.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission from 3 to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
