MISSION - David I. Garcia, 86, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at his residence. He was born on March 14, 1926 in Mission
Survivors include his children, Minerva Perez, San Juanita Saenz, Tomas Garcia, Rosie Vela and Betty Gonzalez; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe C. Garcia.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 13, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home Chapel in Mission. A funeral mass will be held Friday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
