OBIT-Roy Alberto Garcia

MISSION - Roy Alberto Garcia, 56, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 29, 2012, in Mission, TX. Born on July 4, 1956, in Mission, TX, to Antonio Garcia and Alicia Avila Garcia.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Magdalena ‘Maggie’ Garcia; son, Roy Adan Garcia; daughter, Denise Garcia; Alexis Nicole Garcia, Elize Joshua Garcia, Kimberly Nadine Alaniz, Kevin Joe Alaniz; brothers, Antonio Garcia Jr. (Francisca), Sly Fox Garcia, Lloyd Garcia, Jerome Garcia (Donna), Joseph Raymond Garcia (Manivahn) Ruben Garcia (Mary); sisters, Anid Carreon (Ramon), Sandra Razo (Juan), Anna Saenz (Atilano); and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. today, July 2, at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission. Funeral Mass will be at 4 p.m. July 3, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Pallbearers are Roy A. Garcia, Lloyd Garcia, Jerome Garcia, Joseph Raymond Garcia, Ruben Garcia, Atilano Saenz.
