MISSION - Maria E. Vargas, 85, passed away May 8, 2012 in Damon.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fidel Vargas.
She is survived by her children Anselmo, Emma, Benito, Juan, Jesse, Irma, Fidel Jr. and Dolores. She is also survived by 51 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday, May 10, at 10 a.m. at St. John of the Fields Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
