OBIT: Raul Canales

MISSION - Raul Canales, 66, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in Lima, Ohio. He was born in Mission to Serapio Canales Jr., and Guadalupe Canales.

He is survived by his daughters, Jessica C. Bryer from Clyde, Ohio and Samantha Canales from Arkansas; sisters, Criselda C. Briones of McAllen, Lydia C. Anaya, Linda C. Buentello, and Janie Canales, all from Arlington, Dora Elia Canales of Morten, MS, Sylvia C. Tijerina of Hurst, Rosie Canales of Grand Prairie, and Alma C. Barrera of Corpus Christi; brothers, Humberto Canales of Mission, Ramiro Canales of Lampasas, and Ruben Canales of Houston; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Serapio Canales III from Mission.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 from 5 to 9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Mission.
