OBIT: Jose Ochoa

PALMVIEW - Jose "Joe" Ochoa, 78, passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2011 at his residence in Palmview. He was born on April 19, 1933 in Abram.

Mr. Ochoa was preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo and Feliberta Ochoa; wife, Carmen Ochoa; son, Noe Ochoa; brothers, Jose Maria Ochoa and Leonel Ochoa; and sister, Ofira Ochoa.

Survivors include his children, Diana Ochoa, Ruben Ochoa, Yolanda Ochoa, Jose Ochoa Jr., and Maggie Ochoa; sisters, Ernestina Rios, Lydia Quintero, Maria Elena Cantu, Leonor Gonzalez, and Rafaela Navarro; brother, Eraclio Ochoa; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The funeral Mass will be held Friday, Dec. 30, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Abram. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Abram.
