OBIT: Guillermo O. Compéan Jr.

MISSION - Guillermo O. Compéan Jr., 73, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston. He was born on February 10, 1938 in Mission.

He is survived by his brother, Raul Compéan. Mr. Compéan was an active member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 1065 and was also a Korean War Veteran.

Mr. Compean was preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo and Juana V. Compéan, and brothers, Jose Compéan, Mario Compéan and Jesus Compéan.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, Dec. 15, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
