PALMVIEW - Alberta C. Ochoa, 88, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2011, at Mission Regional Medical Center. She was born to Albino and Eduarda Cantu in Mercedes on April 18, 1923.
Mrs. Ochoa is survived by her sons and daughters, Manuel (Isabel) Ochoa from San Antonio, Rita (Ricardo) Zamarripa from Palmview, Epimeño Ochoa from Mexia, San Juanita (Edelmiro) Villarreal from Palmview, Tomas (Felipa) Ochoa from Beeville, and Juan Jose Ochoa from Florida, TX; daughter-in-law, Teodora Ochoa from Mission; and 22 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tomas Ochoa Sr., and her son, Martin Ochoa.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 2, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Mission. The funeral mass will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, at 1 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Abram with cremation to follow.
