Hidalgo-County-SealWhen early voting results were released after polls closed at 7 p.m., Rodriguez had a lead in the race for Hidalgo County District Attorney with 63 percent of the votes to Rene Guerra's 37 percent.

Four years ago, 30,576 people cast a ballot during early voting, compared to 37,674 this year.

Other early voting results were:

State Rep. District 36

Mari Regalado: 23 percent

Sergio Muñoz Jr. 77 percent

92nd District Judge

Miguel Wise: 12 percent

Luis Manuel Singleterry: 60 percent

Rey Ortiz: 29 percent

275th District Judge

Mauro Barreiro: 21 percent

Fidencio Guerra Jr.: 28 percent

Juan R. Partida: 51 percent

County Court-at-Law No. 8

Julian Castañeda: 6 percent

Omar Maldonado: 54 percent

Marla Cuellar: 40 percent
