20110201_WinterAll local school districts have closed their campuses and school offices for Friday, Feb. 4. Activities at all schools will resume back to normal on Monday, Feb. 7.


Due to inclement weather and rolling power outages in the community, Sharyland ISD schools will close all day Friday, Feb. 4.


Mission CISD is officially canceling school for Friday, Feb. 4. All district schools and offices will be closed due to the deteriorating weather situation.


La Joya ISD has canceled classes. All afterschool and extracurricular activities are also canceled for Friday, Feb. 4. Classes will resume on regular schedule Monday, Feb/ 7.

All District offices will be closed, as well. The day will be made up on the scheduled Bad Weather Day, Monday, Feb. 21.

La Joya ISD will keep its two shelters open to the public until further notice. People are advised to bring their own bedding, snacks and prescription medications.

The shelters are located at Domingo Treviño Middle School gymnasium, located at 301 South Inspiration Road in Alton, and Juarez-Lincoln High School gymnasium, located at 801 North Coyote Drive in La Joya.


Due to the deteriorating weather conditions, all IDEA Public Schools will be closed.


All STISD campuses will also be closed all day on Friday, Feb. 4.
