The Randy Rogers Band will perform Friday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. at the Pharr Entertainment Center, 3000 N. Cage Blvd. in Pharr. The Randy Rogers Band is a hard-hitting-no-frills band that averages over 220 tour dates a year playing to sold-out crowds night after night.
As their new studio album intimates, TROUBLE is always just around the corner. This band of brothers has experienced their share of ups and downs throughout the years. On TROUBLE, they’ve found a way to take those times of loss and pain along with happiness and a little mayhem, and masterfully turn it into beautiful and enduring art.
Teaming up for the first time with award-winning producer Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Cage the Elephant, The Wallflowers), the Texas five piece dove headfirst into songs of loss, love and, above all, truth.
“At times it cuts deep and you can hear the pain,” said Rogers. “But it’s honest, it’s real.”
The band has always enjoyed critical acclaim, thanks to their signature blend of outlaw edge coupled with guy-next-door charm, this album takes that duality to the next level and gives us all a reason to get into some TROUBLE.
Their last two albums have landed at #1 most downloaded country album on iTunes. Their album, BURNING THE DAY, was the second most downloaded album on iTunes or all genre just under pop superstar Katy Perry. The lead single, "Too Late For Goodbye," was the most added at radio its first week just behind country super-group Lady Antebellum.
The band has recently released a new single from TROUBLE, titled "Speak of the Devil" that is burning up the Texas charts. Rogers has performed with Willie Nelson, Gary Allan, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert and was an opener for The Eagles at Indio's Stagecoach Festival.
