McALLEN — Writers in Literary Discussion (WILD) is sponsoring a film contest to culminate in a screening of selected productions on April 12 at the South Texas College Pecan Campus.
To submit a film, it must be no longer than 30 minutes, but there is no minimum length. It must have a plot, include a title and credits, and not include the use of any copyrighted materials such as music. It should be submitted by April 3 to Tom Fuschetto in Room J-3.1112 at STC. Awards will be given for first through third place. There will also be “best” awards given for animation, comedy, horror, action, drama, poetic, cinematography, story, actor, actress, director, screenplay, technical achievement, documentary and Valley film.
