Sealed bids for the Military Parkway Road & Drainage Improvements for Mission Economic Development Authority (Owner) will be received at the Owner’s office, located at the TexaSweet Citrus Marketing Inc. Building, 901 Business Park Dr., Mission, Texas 78572, until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2011 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Instruction to Bidders, Performance and Payment Bond Requirements, Bid Bond forms, Contract forms, and Plans and Specifications and other documents may be examined at the following location:

L&G Engineering - 900 S. Stewart Rd., Suite 10, Mission, Texas 78572

Copies may be obtained at the office of L&G Engineering, located at 900 S. Stewart Rd., Suite 10, Mission, Texas 78572 upon payment of $100.00 per set, with no refund.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.

Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions for Bidders.

Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.  Bids may be held by Owner for a period not to exceed 15 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigation of the bidders’ qualifications prior to award of the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 15 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
