CITY OF MISSION
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM
PROPOSED ACTION PLAN 2012-2013 (DRAFT)
In compliance with the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant Program rules and regulations, the City of Mission hereby announces its proposed Action Plan 2012-2013 for its Twenty Ninth Year Entitlement Program. On April 10, 2012 the Citizens Advisory Committee made funding recommendations for the Action Plan 2012-2013 utilizing the city’s estimated 2012 CDBG allocation of $860,882.
1) (05) Public Service Agencies - $45,000
a) (05A) Amigos Del Valle $15,000
b) (05A) LRGVDC - Area Agency on Aging $10,000
c) (05M) Dentists Who Care $10,000
d) (05N) Children’s Advocacy $10,000
2) (14A) Housing Assistance Program - $600,000
Rehabilitation $50,000
Reconstruction $550,000
3) (14H) Housing Administration - $100,000
4) (21A) CD Program Administration - $115,882
City Council will be having a public hearing as follows:
Date: April 23, 2012
Place: Mission City Hall Council Chambers
Time: 4:30 p.m.
The Proposed Action Plan 2012-2013 is being provided for public comments. Oral and/or written comments will be accepted through May 21, 2012.
Accommodations for persons with disabilities, non-english speaking or handicapped individuals shall be provided upon request. Please notify the department at least three days in advance of meeting.
