ORDINANCE NO. 3702

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS ESTABLISHING NO PARKING/NO STANDING SIGNS: NO VEHICLE WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARK OR STAND ON THE WEST AND EAST SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AT THE 100 BLOCK OF MAYBERRY RD. BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00 A/M TO 8:30 A/M AND 2:30 P/M TO 5:00 P/M ON THE DAYS THE MISSION CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT IS IN SESSION; PROVIDING FOR INSTALLATION OF SAID NO PARKING/NO STANDING SIGNS AND PROPER SIGNAGE THEREOF AND MAKING PROVI-SIONS OF THE STATE TRANS-PORTATION CODE AND TRAFFIC ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MISSION IN REGARD TO PENALTY FOR VIOLATION APPLICABLE THEREOF:

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MISSION, TEXAS THAT:

SECTION 1: No vehicle shall park or stand on the west and east side of the roadway at the 100 block of S. Mayberry Rd., between the hours of 7:00 a/m to 8:30 a/m and 2:30 p/m and 5:00 p/m on the days the Mission Consolidated Independent School District is in session.

SECTION 2: The proper devices shall be installed in accordance with the standards adopted by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation.

SECTION 3: The provisions of the State Transportation Code and the Traffic Ordinances of the City of Mission shall be applicable in regard to penalties for violation of said traffic control devices and signs.

SECTION 4: This ordinance shall become effective when said signage is installed and when it has been published as prescribed by law.
