TxDOT’s goal before, during and after a tropical storm/hurricane emergency is to get people to safety, get people home safely and help in the cleanup and recovery. We are working with state emergency management officials and local officials to provide TxDOT resources and expertise necessary to ensure the safety of all Texas residents.
